I almost wet my pants on this road! What was I thinking!

Sure, 26,000 pounds of motorcoach at 36ft of length will make it to Ouray from Durango. Who thought that was a good idea??? Yesterday, Julie and I drove what has been described as both the most beautiful road in America and also the most dangerous road in America - The Million Dollar Hwy. I almost pissed my pants, seriously! Julie had to close her eyes in a few areas of the road. I'd be ready to heave driving this road in a normal car as I have a mild fear of heights, but driving it in a large and heavy Class A Motorcoach was a mistake, at least for me. I'll never try it again, not for a million bucks. Yes it was amazing, I'm glad we lived, one tiny mistake and your over the edge. I'll just leave these videos here to give you a brief view of the road. I would suggest taking the 1.5 hour longer alternative route to Ouray. But if you take the Million Dollar Hwy, you have been warned :) Be careful no matter what you drive!

I drove this road a few years back in a 34' motorcoach with the driver side slide OUT. No, I didn't forget it, it was stuck in the out position. Thanks for the video, that's the first time I've seen the scenery. It's a real Ah Shucks! road
