The incredible adventures of Coach Addy continue....

We are 12,000 miles and 15 states into our 15 month adventure across the USA and Canada, Our 2021 Tiffin 34PA remains a very reliable and trouble free "first class" ride criss-crossing this great nation.

As we set about planning our routes, several of the destinations were centered around visiting family and friends. Although we were very excited about this, we did not fully understand how wonderful and beautiful that component of our motorcoach trip would be. At home and in our day to day lives, visiting with family and friends typically is a meal at most, a few sentences at a community gathering, a brief conversation at an event with many others, and similar interactions including brief emails and phone calls.
On the road in Coach Addy friendships and visits are deeper, It's typically all day or multiple days off being together, treasuring and nurturing deep friendships while seeing their special area of our country.

Our last destination was Minnesota where we spent several days mooch-docking with fiends and at a state Campground. I've known of Minnesota as the land of 10,000 lakes, so it was so good to get on a few of the lakes in pontoon boats with the Saviage's and Lindholm's. The time together with their families, friends and neighbors was unforgettable. Julie and I are forever grateful for their friendship and the warmth and love shared together while visiting. We will continue visiting dear friends and family for the next few weeks in Kansas, Tennessee, Illinois & Texas. We are so blessed with these wonderful nourishing friendships.
A First For Julie And Me!
Last night while staying at Wallace State Park in Missouri, Julie and I saw a sight so beautiful and awe inspiring, for the first time in our lives. It was magical and captivating and an evening we will never forget... We saw hundreds of fireflies in the wooded area directly next to our campsite! For the first time in our lives!
Goodness Gracious "little" balls of fire! is all I can say as no photos or video was taken that could describe the beauty of the evening. Julie, Charlie and myself on the patio under the awning on a still humid night being mesmerized for hours by the flickering lights all around us. It seemed like we were in an Avatar movie it was so unreal. Have you ever seen fireflies?
We continue traveling and discovering many firsts for us, on The Great Open Road...
Cheers
Peder
